One of Tuscany's most historic and stunning ancient cities Siena is a must see. Just wandering the streets gives you an excellent look at the medieval architecture, beautiful churches and of course the chance to enjoy the main piazza.
A gastronomical delight, the city offers a lip-smacking range of pastas, pizzas, desserts and wine to match. The shopping - both for food treats or the latest labels, is great. Go early (or late) to avoid the tour buses.
