There are a couple of good beaches and some clothes and souvenir shops here. But it’s Positanos setting that makes it worth at least a day trip. The town, clinging to a hillside overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea, attracts celebrities and the rich. There are plenty of restaurants and cafes for you to enjoy a leisurely meal or drink. In the summer a hydrofoil can ferry you to Amalpi, Capri and Salerno.
