This three-pronged scenic island is located in Macedonian region and is the birthplace of Alexander the Great. Kassandra has some of the best beaches and offers a great view of the Gulf.
The village of Polichrono gives you a good feel for the region with its traditional houses with wooden balconies, stone walls and red tiled roofs. Hanioti is the place for enjoying watersports and a good nightlife.
