Positioned on the three rivers of Elbe, Alster, and Bille, Hamburg city has its harbour located right in its city centre. The St. Michaelis church - an architectural masterpiece and the inner port area -Innenalster, complete with its shops and fine restaurants are a must see.
The outer port area - Aussenalster is a good place for taking long walks with paths for jogging and cycling. The opera house and theatres, vibrant nightlife and shopping malls, Hamburg despite being a bustling city is also an excellent beach getaway.
